Data Deletion Instructions

How to remove the data ShopFlow received from Facebook and Messenger.

Last updated:

What data we receive from Facebook

When a shop connects a Facebook Page to ShopFlow, we store the Page's name, ID, profile picture and a Page access token (encrypted at rest) so our assistant can reply to Messenger conversations.

When someone messages that Page, we store the conversation (messages and replies) and the sender's public name and profile picture so the shop's staff can follow up.

Stop ShopFlow's access

In the ShopFlow dashboard, open Channels → choose the Page → Disconnect. We unsubscribe from the Page's messages and delete the Page access token immediately; you can reconnect later.

To remove the Page from ShopFlow entirely, choose Delete Page on the same screen. We unsubscribe from the Page and delete its stored details (name, ID, profile picture, access token) immediately. Conversations with customers are kept until you request deletion below.

Or on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find ShopFlow and choose Remove. ShopFlow can no longer read or send messages for your Pages after this.

Removing the integration stops new data from arriving but does not erase data already stored — follow the next section to have it deleted.

Request deletion

Email dtduy2014@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Include the Facebook Page name or ID (shop owners), or the name shown on your Facebook profile and the Page you messaged (people who messaged a shop).

We will delete the related data within 30 days and reply by email to confirm once it is done.
